The Heat is On...

Well, the Summer started out with a big storm in Lasalle, and then 10 straight days of storm damage. 35 degrees C did not help things, as we did our best to clear roofs, power lines, and remove hazardous trees. Things have since calmed down and were in the midst of prunings and removals.

Tree Pruning

Our professional ISA certified arborists at Ascents Tree cares about your tree. What does pruning trees accomplish? Depending on your objectives, pruning work might improve airflow around your tree and shape your tree to maintain tree health while protecting nearby structures, it could dissuade critter access, and improve the visual aesthetics of the tree. It is important to inspect and remove limbs that might increase wind loads during storms, or that might fail entirely.

Tree Removal

Sometimes your tree can't be saved and needs to be removed. Make sure to call us before the tree is too far gone so we can remove it safely. Removing trees on a timely basis helps save you money. We specialize in hard-to-reach removals where it is not feasible (or possible) to access via lift or truck. Our climbers are specialist in rope access, and will work safely and efficiently to bring down your problem tree.

Stump Grinding

We can remove stumps up to 22" diameter. If we are hired to do your work, we will manage the entire job. We will contact location services. Once we are clear to work (ie no gas, water, electrical ...etc) we will get the job done. We are able to grind to a depth of 14" which is plenty for most tree stumps. By backfilling and top dressing where the stump was removed, you are free to plant grass seed, a small garden bed, or to sod over top.

Tree Planting

When is the best time to plant a tree? 20 years ago. When is the second best time? Now! If you're ready to grow some shade in your yard or would like to replace a dead tree, we can help you decide what tree will work for your yard space and soil type. We have experience in large restoration plantings, with our crews able to plant > 1000 seedlings per day. We can simply and effectively plant landscape trees according to ISA best practices for tree planting, thus maximizing the health and survivalbility of your new trees.
